about rethink
A lot of social. A lot of marketing.
Very little patience for nonsense.
Social has changed beyond recognition. We’ve been around for rather a lot of that change.
Rethink brings decades of marketing experience, more than 20 years at the sharp end of social and a healthy suspicion of anything that sounds clever but won’t work in the real world.
We’ve made a few mistakes too. Turns out they’re quite useful too.
why rethink
Social got bigger.
Somewhere along the way, it got harder to make sense of.
Social now influences how brands are found, what people believe and trust about them and what gets remembered after the scroll. Increasingly, those same signals are feeding what AI knows and says.
But inside plenty of businesses, social is still planned and measured using ideas that belong to a much smaller version of the channel.
We thought that deserved a rethink.

Rethink Social is a senior social media consultancy built on decades of marketing experience and more than 20 years working at the sharp end of social.
Been around a bit
This isn’t theory from the sidelines.
The experience behind Rethink stretches from the days before Facebook was a sensible marketing investment to the slightly bonkers world marketers are navigating now.
Along the way, that has meant shaping strategy for global B2B and consumer brands, working with boards and marketing teams, building measurement approaches and figuring out what actually makes people pay attention.
Useful? Definitely. Glamorous? Less often than it sounds.

working with rethink
No theatre. No dependency. No 86 slide reveal.
We’ll challenge the thinking.
Not for sport. Because expensive problems usually sit underneath the obvious ones.
We’ll say when something doesn’t need fixing.
More activity is not automatically progress.
We leave useful things behind.
Ways of thinking, measuring and working that still make sense after we’ve gone.
